I feel the same way about what a beautiful trainwreck their CR was, and yet never quite to the point they stopped talking. It was wonderful to see them keep trying to understand each other, even though they were messed up people with jaded views of the world. Kogami ended up being such an important figure in Sakura's life, easily the most sibling-like relationship she had outside of Rin, and it was made all the better when he delivered the ultimate betrayal... and accidentally answering the question of what price you must pay when you piss this girl off.
