VENDING MACHINE/REGAINS
Okay, so what's this thing? ↴
When do we get coins? ↴
What's in it for me? ↴
What's this about renewable items? ↴
I got an item that isn't mine - what do I do with it? ↴
Can we stack coins to help our odds? ↴

Can we use our coins to opt out of death rolls? ↴
It's boxy, it's metal, it's rickety, and it was probably really modern in the 1970s - but perhaps most importantly, it's here to give you stuff! ICly, characters will be rewarded for bonding with one another; these rewards come in the form of coins left in their room, somewhere that they'll be easily found. After that, it's just a matter of going over to the machine, sticking coins in and letting prizes fall out. Simple!
When do we get coins? ↴
Coins are awarded for every 20-comment thread (10 comments per person) submitted here. Any threads between two player characters that do not take place during investigations, trials and motive announcements are eligible for a coin. Threads with mod NPCs such as the Transmitter are eligible for coins as well, but the one caveat to this is that private conversations and texts do not count – the thread must take place in public.

Glad you asked! We asked all of you to put five regains down on your app; this is where you have the chance to get them back. Of course, since nothing can ever be easy for anyone, RNG gets to decide how quickly that happens...
Furthermore, there's also a chance that the regain you get back won't necessarily be yours. That's also a distinct possibility that we won't deny. Good thing you're on such good terms with everyone here, right?
The percentages shake down something like this: You have a 10% chance of getting a regain – either yours or someone else's, every time you roll. There's an 80% chance you'll get something random. As for the remaining 10%...well. You'll have to roll and see what that remaining percentage might contain, won't you?

What's this about renewable items? ↴
One out of your five items can be renewable – that is, they have the potential to fall out of the machine more than one time. They can be consumable things like food, candy, liquor or cigarettes; they can also be things like yarn, socks, underwear, stuffed toys, whatever you like!
I got an item that isn't mine - what do I do with it? ↴
Whatever your character would do with it! Give it back, eat it, wear it, set it on fire, whatever you want. You might want to work it out with whomever it belongs to, but...really, it's your choice.
Can we stack coins to help our odds? ↴
Unfortunately, no. I mean, if you have a surplus of them and you want to shove them in the machine all willy-nilly then no one's going to stop you, but it's not going to increase your chances of getting a regain. But maybe you'll be rewarded for jamming in twenty at once, who knows! ...Or maybe you'll just screw up the machine, because it's old. But you'll never know until you try, right?
Do our coins expire? ↴
You can redeem your coins whenever you want; in other words, the threads you submit don't have to all be from the current week!
Can we use our coins to opt out of death rolls? ↴
That, my friends, would be bribery, and it's highly frowned upon by the Transmitter. If you can't be present for a given week that you've been selected to die, you can ask the mods to reschedule, but there are no true opt-outs or safety nets of that sort.

CONGRATULATIONS
1 - Bag of Chocolates
A colorful assortment of individually wrapped chocolates all neatly packaged in clear plastic. Some of them appear to have a ladybug motif.
2 - 046. Water Flute
A flute that makes a small birdsong-like sound when you pour water into the container and blow into the pipe.
3 - 014. Shwip-On Bracelets
Toys that normally stick straight out like a ruler, but wrap around your arm with a 'shwip!’ when you hit your arm with them.
4 - 026. In-Vitro Rose
A rose in a test tube; very suitable for sending to someone as a gift. In the language of flowers, red roses mean “love”.
5 - 023. Absolute Tuning Fork
A huge tuning fork that hides the power to destroy the entire world with resonance, if used by someone who has mastered the art of tuning. It’s also good for drying out laundry.
6 - 052. Fur Muffler
A muffler made from the fur of the dragon that appeared in “The Neverending Story”. In a land of everlasting summer, this would be too hot.
7 - 007. Red Mascot Costume
A costume that makes one want to help out in a supporting role just by wearing it. Looks like a yeti.
8 - 062. Pumice
A porous stone spewed out from a volcano. You can use it to scrape off old, calloused skin from your heels.
9 - 054. Elevator Boots
Boots with thickened insoles, to obfuscate your height.
10 - 041. Skull Mask
An eerie skull mask appearing in the game “Time Travelers”. Worn by the subordinates of the terrorist group “Skeleton”.
You've also received an extra item from the machine:
040. Blue Sephira
A gift from Arietta. A miniature statue of a goddess, said to increase your wealth! It's proof of having defeated the most feral of the God-Generals, congratulations!
