I'm so glad you decided to join Trustfell's wild ride, I didn't know how much I needed this CR until I saw Rin and Sakura on the reserve list. Sakura and Greed's CR broke my heart on multiple occasions, and though I'm only canon familiar through the two ufotable animes, I have spent an inordinate amount of time on the wikia, enough to know how upsetting Sakura's story gets.

Greed ended up seeing a lot of himself in her, and apparently that meant that he had to become a father-figure and oh, my heart.

I still can't believe the homunculus was easily a better father-figure to Sakura than 95% of the adults in the FSN series. Pi and I regularly screamed how much we loved Greed's contributions to the lives of these sad mages, and he easily became one of Sakura's favorite people in the game. Tears might've been raining down my face when he told her he was basically gonna adopt her out of her route.

(Also fun fact: I went to Pi telling her that Sakura would ask Rin if there was a way to give Greed her mana, only to find out Rin had been thinking the exact same thing herself, so Greed for best dad is what I'm saying here.)
